Chatroulette: A chatroulette is a website that randomly pairs two users via webcam for a live conversation. Matching happens at random, usually with no sign-up required, and either person can move to a new partner at any time using the skip button.

NSFW / 18+: NSFW (Not Safe For Work) refers to sexual or shocking content unsuitable for a public setting. On chatroulette sites, such content is banned and results in account suspension; access to these platforms is restricted to adults aged 18 and over.
Skip / Next: The skip, or next, button instantly ends the current conversation and connects the user with a new randomly chosen partner. It is the core feature of chatroulette, usable at any time without explanation or penalty for either participant.
Online dating: Online dating refers to any romantic or social interaction started over the internet rather than in person. On a chatroulette like Lovycam, it takes the form of spontaneous video exchanges with strangers, which can lead to casual chats or longer-lasting connections.
